Dharma Arts
Dharma Arts comprises a number of disciplines and activities
that explore culture using a contemplative approach: such as Ikebana
(Japanese flower arranging), Kyudo (archery), dance, movement
exercises, feng shui, etc. At this time, the Milwaukee Shambhala
Center does not have regularly-scheduled classes associated with
Dharma Arts. Periodically, there are classes on Ikebana and visual
arts.
Programs
for Children
While most programs are specifically geared toward adults, some
can accommodate children as well. Please contact each program's
coordinator for details.
Children's classes (Bodhi School) are offered every second and
fourth Sunday of each month at 10:30am. Bodhi School provides
children with an introduction to the Shambhala teachings and a
contemplative path. If you are interested, please contact John
Komp at 414-774-1490 and let him know your name, phone number
and the names and ages of your child(ren).
