Tuesday Night Open House Talk
?Free and open to the public, Open House Talks are aimed at beginning meditators. While each of these talks stands on its own, some fall into a series, in which case attending the series is recommended.
Tuesday Night Classes
?Beginning with the first teachings of the Buddha (Hinayana) these foundational teachings emphasize the impermanent nature of mind and reality, the suffering caused by attachment, and the way to personal liberation. Students who have attended Café Shambhala or Open House talks are encouraged to attend.
Wednesday Night Classes
?Students who have attended several Tuesday night classes are encouraged to continue by taking courses in Mahayana, the Great Vehicle. These classes offer specific training on how to extend peace and stability to our world.

TIBETAN LANGUAGE CLASSES
Learning Tibetan is considered a practice in itselfit sharpens
the mind and allows one to look more deeply into the subtle meanings
of the dharma. Just learning the alphabet is very useful, especially
for practitioners engaged in visualization practices.
